DERECKTOR Shipyards was founded in 1947 in Mamaroneck, New York by Bob Derecktor. It has a history of building prominent sailboats including America's Cup winner, Stars & Stripes. Derecktor has added a new yard in Fort Pierce, FL where we are hauling out some of the largest sailboats in the world, using the largest mobile boat hoist in the Western Hemisphere. This unique yard has ample dockage that can accommodate vessels up to 350 feet in length. Plans call for more dockage for in-water work, increasing the area on the hard to block more vessels, and adding a dry dock and other systems to haul even larger vessels. Derecktor's yard crew and subcontractors provide superyacht quality service. With exceptional access to the Atlantic, a private international airport, a revitalized downtown, and a laid back atmosphere, Derecktor Fort Pierce offers mega sailing yachts a prime location for repairs and refitting where no project is too big.
