Dry Tortugas National Park is a remote set of islands about 70 miles out in the Gulf of Mexico west of Key West, Florida. The name derives from the fact there is no natural fresh water source on the islands. Drinking water and other supplies need to be "packed in and packed out." The park includes historic 19th century Fort Jefferson and surrounding coral reefs. This video introduces visitors to fundamental trip planning to the Dry Tortugas.
