Take a side trip upriver to Angel Falls in Venezuela. Sail to the Netherlands Antilles: the famous ABC Islands of Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao. Then make the trade-winds passage to Colon in Panama where cruising boats gather for the Transit of the Panama Canal.
