A Film by Paul Burgess.
Sail a 50 ft ocean-going catamaran on one of the world's longest ocean passages - a 6,200 mile voyage from South Africa to Grenada in the Leeward Islands of the Caribbean.
Share the voyage with owner's Paul and Lesley, and their crew of two departing the port of St Francis, on South Africa's east coast, Sailing south with a stop at Kynsna Lagoon - passing through the notoriously dangerous "Heads" into the lagoon's protected waters. Continue south, rounding the Cape of Good Hope and into the bustling port of Cape Town, South Africa for final commissioning prior to the Atlantic crossing. Then sail northwestward across the Atlantic stopping mid-ocean at St Helena Island, the jewel of the Atlantic where Napoleon was once imprisoned. Finally, make the long ocean passage to Grenada, gateway to the exotic Leeward Islands of the Caribbean.
